What a porcelain surface can tell you
Gilding, glaze, foot rims and the meeting of lid and body often reveal more than a frontal photograph. Look for consistent wear, later retouching and small changes in colour before making conclusions.

Why this is an archive, not a stock list
The website shows objects that have passed through ANPLO’s hands. Some may be sold, reserved or unavailable. Keeping the archive visible records the eye of the collection without pretending that every object can still be bought.
How we work · Short read
From observation to catalogue note
A useful note separates what can be seen from what still needs proof. Material, measurements, condition, attribution and provenance are checked individually, and uncertainty is stated rather than polished away.
